UCSD RRTT (Research Residency Training Track)
Selection Process Time Commitment Study Project About RRTT Resources

                                           Recruitment

The Research Residency Training Track is an NIMH funded program conceived
to attract and train outstanding physician-scientists as future leaders in
academic psychiatry. Our current RRTT trainees and mentors are a great
strength of our program and their M.D., Ph.D. backgrounds afford them a
unique perspective on the need for research that will advance the lives
      of their patients.

All finishing medical students with significant research training are openly
invited to discuss their interests with us and are strongly encouraged to
apply. When filling out the application for residency training within the
UCSD Department of Psychiatry, simply indicate your interest in the Research
Residency Training Track. At the same time let us know If there are any
faculty members at UCSD with whom you would like to meet while you are
interviewing. We will be happy to assist with scheduling those meetings to
further assist with your exploration of this program.

Feel free to contact any of our faculty at any time.
